Most of Norway’s strength in the field of advanced marine operations isconcentrated within an hour’s drive from the picturesque town ofÅlesund on the country’s west coast. The region is home for animpressive constellation of over 200 leading maritime companies andtraining, research and finance institutions that form one of very fewcomplete maritime clusters in the world.

Due to its leading position and its strong global presence, the cluster was awarded the prestigious status as Norwegian Centre of Expertise – Maritime by the Norwegian government. Over 75% of the world’s large, hi-tech offshore vessels are designed there. 40% of the world’s most advanced offshore fleet is controlled by the region’s ship-owners.

The Challenge/The Brief:
Disseminate the world's largest maritime cluster's responsibilities,opportunities and prospects. This should be done without showing asingle product, without showing a single vessel, and without showing asingle employee. The Client also wanted us to create a feeling ofinternal pride of the maritime cluster, and its employees.
